Association As-sociation cash prizes will be $3 for the best display; $2.50 and $2 for second and third; $2 for best old pen, each variety; $1.50 se. cond and $1, third; $2, first young pen, each variety, $1.50 second and $1, third. Joseph F. Phringer, secretary of the Black Langshan club of America, now fighting oh the western front, has offered a special spe-cial prize to the best black Langshan Lang-shan male and female of the show, and the Intermountain Poultry association of Ogden has donated $25 to be presented to the best pen trio, exhibited from Cache, Box Elder, Davis, Weber and Salt Lake counties. Special competition has been arranged for FFA and 4-H club members with no entry fee to be charged. They also will be eligible for all prizes. American Poultry Association awards, open only to APA members, mem-bers, will be ribbons for champion cham-pion bird in each breed; bronze medal for champion birds In American, Mediterranean, English and all other classes; gold medal for grand champion bird of the show. In addition to the cash prizes, trophies have been donated' by the banks of Logan; C. C. Anderson An-derson company, Sears Roebuck company, Waterworks Equipment company. Special prizes, valued at more than $250 also will he presented to various winners, Mr. Carlson said. |
