Show Chairman Named For Horse Show James C. Wallentine, owner of the Dinnerhorn Food store, today opened preparations to stage the second annual Cache Valley Horse show, July 2, 3, and 4 at the county fair grounds, according to H. H. Simmons, association presi-' dent. Mr. Wallentine, discussing preliminary pre-liminary arrangements, pointed out that it will be the only association asso-ciation sponsored show this year between Denver, Colorado, and the coast. Entry blanks will be sent to horse owners in Utah, Washington, Idaho, California, Montana, Wyoming and Colorado. The association board of directors direc-tors also voted to increase the premium list to $2000 and announced, an-nounced, other show assignments as follows: Rulon Everton, grounds and stables, assisted by Bert Russell and Cliff Rogers; A. L. Baer, calf scramble; John Bateman, standard bred class; Lloyd Hunsaker, remounts re-mounts and thoroughbreds; Dr. E. I. Stewart, palominos; Claude Wennergren, stock horses, and Herb Humpherys, quarter-horse class. |
