Show Last Rites Held Thursday for F. A. Roskelley Funeral services were held Thrsday afternoon for Mrs. Fran-jig Fran-jig Annie Roskellley in the First ward chaple. Bishop G. L. Rees "was in charge of the services with the ward choir under the direction of Mrs. Samuel Hymas and Mrs. Walter Michaels at the organ. Opening songs were: "Though Deepning" and "O My Father." Invocation, John P. Toolson; those who spoke of the many sterling qualities of the deceased and offered words of consolation to the bereaved family fam-ily were: Mr. Albert McCann, Bishop Rees; special musical numbers num-bers rendered were vocal duet, "Jesus Lover of My Soul'' by Mrs. Florence Lewis and Mrs. Rebecca Re-becca Lewis; vocal solo, "In the Garden of Tomorrow," by Mrs. Eugenia Lundquist and vocal solo. so-lo. "Going Home" by Mr. Woodland. Wood-land. "I know that my Redeemer Lives" with Mrs. Clara Sparks as the soloist, was the closing song; "benediction, John H. Peterson. The grave at the cemetery was dedicated dedi-cated by Harper W. Noble. The many beautiful floral offerings of-ferings were carried by relatives and friends. Mrs. Annie Roskelley was born June 13, 1867 at Salt Lake City a daughter of Henry and Elizabeth Eliza-beth Brewster Emery. She married James Roskelley and moved to Smithfield where she has lived during the past 51 years. Her husband died in 1919. Surviving are three sons, ana six daughters, James Emery of Los Angeles California, Henry B. of Logan, and Doris R. Roskelley, of JSraitbfirM. iid Jfo. Francic Mc Ivor of Bingham canyon, Mrs. Edith Beckelman of Tonopah, Nev. Mrs. Beth Ward, of Willard, Mrs. Edna Ward of Ogden and Mrs. Katie Swainston and Mrs. Vida Beckstead of Whitney, Idaho, 28 . grandchildren and one great grand child and the following brothers and sisters: W. L. Emery, Fred Emery and Mrs. Sarah Timpson of Salt Lake City, Wilford W. Emery, Em-ery, president of the Samoan LDS mission and Mrs. Mary E. Mitchell Mitch-ell of Woods Cross. |
