In addition to the millions sent in to pav debts, land bank and commissioner borrowers have accumulated ac-cumulated $2,604,771 in future payment pay-ment funds of the Federal Land Bank of Berkeley for future ap-I ap-I plication on loans. Farmers Repay Federal Loans Farmers and stockmen of Utah hung up an outstanding financial record during the fiscal year from July 1, 1943 through June 30, 1944, according to a report issued by the Federal Land Bank of Berkeley, Ber-keley, California, received today by Director W. W. Owens of the Utah Extension service. The Berkeley bank report shows that 1,455 Utah farmers paid their land bank and commissioner loans in full during this period as compared com-pared with 1,230 in 1942-43. In the four states of Utah, Nevada, Ne-vada, Arizona, and California, comprising com-prising the eleventh farm credit district, a total of 10,271 land bank and commissioner loans were paid in full prior to maturity, as compared with 7,532 for the previous pre-vious fiscal year. Of the 10,271 loans paid off, v 3,568 were made during the depression year of 1934.
