Show Proclamation On Fishing ; ;:( In This State H WHEREAS, It is deemed ad vis-, able to make changes itt fishing seasons on certain waters otherwise- opened to fishing under Section Sec-tion 30-0-33, Revised Laws of Utah 1933, wherein dates lor fishing fish-ing for game fish are prescribed by the State Legislature, NOW THEREFORE, I. Newel B. Cook, Fish and Game Commissioner Commis-sioner of the State of Utah, bj virtue of the authority vested in me by Section 30-0-7, Revised Laws of Utah, 1933, do hereby proclaim and declare that all waters wat-ers of the State shall be opened to fishing from June 15 to October Oc-tober 31, 1941, inclusive, , except as hereinafter prescribed. Section 1, PROVIDED, the following fol-lowing waters are hereby declared closed to fishing for the entire vear of 1941-, to-wit: STATE FISH HATCHERIES All waters within all properties owned or controlled by the State Fish and Game Department for fish hatchery purposes. BOELDER COUNTY: Black Slough, west of Brigham City, and all waters within the Cutler Dam Game Preserve, as posted with game preserve signs. CACHE COUNTY: Temple Fork; White Pine Creek; Logan River and its tributaries above a point approximately 100 yards below the junction of Beaver Bea-ver Creek and Logan River, as marked find posted on the ground; Tony Grove Lake; Right Hand Fork of Logan River; the tail races ra-ces of the Logan City Power Plant and Utah Power and Light Plant and the State Dam in Logan Lo-gan Canyon; the tail races of the Hyrum City Power Plant and the Utah Power and Light Plant to Blacksmith Fork Canyon; all tributaries trib-utaries to Blacksmith Fork above the road at C. L. Anderson's Ranch; and headwaters of East Canyon and Scare Canyon above their junction; the Bass Pond immediately im-mediately south and east of Wells-ville; Wells-ville; and all waters within the Cutler Dam Game Preserve, as posted with game preserve signs. Section 2. BE IT FURTHER PROVIDED: that the season dur-ing dur-ing which it shall be lawful to ' fish in certain waters during the year 1941 as provided for under Section 30-0-33, Revised Laws of Utah, 1933, shall be amended as follows: BOXELDER COUNTY: Locomotive Springs from May 1 to October 31, inclusive. CACHE COUNTY: Bear River; Logan River below Mendon Road bridge; and Pelican Ponds, June 15 to December 10, inclusive; High Creek and Smith -'field Creek, June 15 to August 15, inclusive. Be it further provided that the bag or creel limit, on all species of trout shall be not more than eight (8) pounds or not more than twenty (20) fish in any one day, but if after catching in weight less than eight pounds, a fish of more than -the required weight to make eight pounds should be caught, such fish may be kept; and that it shall be unlawful to have in possession at any one time more than sixteen (16) pounds or two days' creel l:mit of any or all varieties or specie of trout. 11 NEWELL B.
