Show SUMMIT COUNTY MAKES FINE SHOWING AT STATE FAIR FAIK summit county was again very creditably represented at the utah state pair fair by many entrants as follows a county lacounty jersey herd owned by J J dahl E J dam dahl C H crittenden and K X B exson the famed winterton bros herd ot ol herefords Here fords two beautiful owned by b the kearns ranch at park city the kamas oakley hampshire club the girls 4 H sewing clubs from parleys park and and the 4 H cooking clubs from parleys I 1 park and Co coalville alville the jersey herd won ath place as a county herd while several prizes prins were won by mr crittenden enden and mr dahl on individual animals in one calf class of 20 animals mr crittenden won a second and aaa mr dahl a ath the winterton herefords Here fords in keen competition won their share of the fair money and honors the hampshire boys did very well they won all firsts in the hampshire club competition won the club group exhibit with all club sheep competing won the prize for the j best fitted sheep and won the purina special tor for the best conditioned 4 T club animal at the 4 pair fair this animal an almal was owned by Mill millard aril andrus of marion roscoe andrus bori won a medal for highest scoring in the 4 H health contest the county girls were not to be out lout done and parleys park girls under the direction of mrs jos remund won ath in the state in year sowing sewing while the coalville Co alville girls under the leadership of maxine sharp and madeline dark clark won 2nd and in the state in first year cooking |
