B Cox will be conducted at two o'clock Saturday afternoon in the Manti ManU North ward chapel by Bishop Gir- Gir ven yen Stott Mrs Cox died Tuesday at the home of a daughter Ruth Mathues in Grantsville She had been ill for several months and died of complications following a lingering illness after an operation last sum sum- mer I She was born in Manti Sept 15 1876 a daughter of Peter H. H and Maria Hansen Madsen She had spent most of her life in Manti ManU and had been very active in church and community affairs She was president president president dent of the Relief Society for four years and also had served as president president president dent of the Primary Association She had been an officer and active member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers was a graduate nurse had attended the Utah State Agricultural Agricultural Agricultural Agri Agri- cultural College Colleg had served as ashead ashead ashead head of the American Red Cross in Manti and was assistant Sanpete County agent under Orvil C. C Stott She was married to Mr Cox inthe in inthe inthe the Manti temple Dec Dee 11 1907 Survivors include her hus hus- band of Manti two daughters Mrs Mathues of Grantsville and Mrs Veda Jensen Roosevelt two sons Ray Cox Manti 1 and Byron Cox Mesa Arizona 9 grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters sisters' Mrs Cora Olsen Nels P. P Madsen Mrs Luella Cox and Stanford Madsen Madsen Madsen Mad- Mad sen Manti Mrs Eunice Nelson Ferron Mrs Francis Johnson Provo Pro Pro- vo and Orson P.
