Christensen, who has been clerking in the Golden Rule store, left Sunday evening, with his family, fam-ily, for his home in Moroni. A shower was given for Mrs. C. Bryans at her home Monday evening. The evening was spent in playing 500. First prize was won by Mrs. Jack Williams and consolation prize by Mrs. Boyd White A few friends gathered at the home of Mrs. H. C. Hunter Monday evening even-ing for an evening of social chat. Mrs Hunter expects to leave Thursday morning for Los Angeles on an extended ex-tended visit. Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Moore, Mrs. Eden, Mrs. Parsons, Mrs Germo, G. Jefferson, Art Kinney, Walt Vincent, Floyd Casterline and Jess Skinner, attended the dance at Beaver on Saturday Sat-urday night J. K. Morrow, grand high priest of the Grand encampment, I. O. O. F. lodge of Utah, and grand patriarch. E. Clawson, were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. 0. J. Mclntire Saturday and Sunday. Robert Matheson. who has been in business hero for many years prior to his moving to Parowan last winter, has returned to Milford and is opening open-ing up a tailor shop, one door south of Martin's garage. The recital and dance given for the playground; Friday evening was ve-y successful financially, as well as socially. so-cially. Much credit is due Mrs. Vivian Viv-ian Duffin who made the dance successful suc-cessful by furnishing the music with Owen Stoker's help. After the rest of the orchestra failed to make Its appearance. Wrord' has been received from Par-agoonah, Par-agoonah, of the death of Miss Lottie Hardy, last week, Miss Hardy was well known in Milford and Beaver. Her death resulted from appendicitis, appendici-tis, after an illness of only a few-days. Some of the Milford people who attended at-tended the dance in Beaver Wednes'-day Wednes'-day night were: Mr. and Mrs. Vivian Duffin, Mr. and Mrs. George Moore, Mr. and Mrs. George Fernley, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Newhart and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Sportsman. |
