Show LOCALS and PERSONALS Thos D. Deardon and daughter, of Garrison, were here on Sunday, last. Mrs. Win. Broyles was a charming hostess to the members of the C. & S. club at her home Tuesday evening. Bridge was the pleasure of the evening. even-ing. Mrs. Spencer Schow won the club prize and Mrs. W. H. Elmer, the guest prize. At 11 o'clock lovely refreshments were served. Those present were Mesdames J. B. Thies-sen, Thies-sen, Sam Hickman, Rue Nelson, F. Farmer, LaMar Outzen, S. Schow, John McGarry, and W. H. Elmer. Special chicken dinner served at the Milford Cafe, from 5:30 p... m..i to 9 o'clock Sunday. Alex Dootry of Garrison, spent Sunday night at the Milford hotel. Joe Betteridge of Parowan, is here working in the shoss. Mr. Betteridge Better-idge played on the basketball team at the B. A. C. last winter. Mrs. Lee Gray has returned home from Salt Lake City and is much improved in health. W. F. Cottrell left Monday for Los Angeles, Cal., on railroad business, returning home Thursday. Mrs. Steve Stoker returned Sunday from a three weeks' 'visit with relatives rela-tives at Spanish Fork and Mammoth. Mam-moth. Harry Forgie met with a serious loss last week wher: his best farm team died from eating poisoned wheat at his farm. j Mr. and Mrs. Rush and family will ! leave soon for California, for the benefit of Mrs. Rushs' health. I Word has been received that Miss - Isma Rudert, daughter of former chief dispatcher Rudert, that she is I with the movies at Hollywood. Mrs. Jos. R. Murdock, Jr., is spending spend-ing a few days visiting relatives at Salt Lake City. Fred Le'i attended a commissioner's commission-er's meeting at Beaver, Monday. Mrs. George Moore and children of Provo, are here visiting Mrs. Antone Johnson. Mrs. Moore was formerly Miss Lou Poulton of this city. j The Jolly Stitchers Sewing club I spent a very pleasant afternoon at the home of Mrs. E. H.
