Show o Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Done of El Paso, Texas, who have been here for a couple of weeks visiting their sister, sis-ter, Mrs. Henry. Mr. and Mrs. F. B. Robinson motored motor-ed in from Rocky Ford Tuesday evening even-ing to meet their daughters, Misses Lucile and Kindall Franke, who have been in Salt Lake this winter and spring. While waiting for the train Mr. and Mrs. Robinson took dinner at the TJ. P. dining room. Miss Lucile has been teaching school at the West Side high this past year. Mrs. Henry Bowman returned Wed- J nesday of last week fram a visit with brothers and sisters at Payson and Salt Lake Citv. I j Everybody in soth Milford is busy ' with their hay crop which will be very short this summer, on account of the high winds, which have caused a good deal of trouble. i Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Done have been here from El Paso, Texas, visiting visit-ing Mrs. Henry Bowman and family. They left Wednesday on a fishing trip at Fish lake, after which they will visit Bryce's canyon, Cedar Breaks,Zion's parl and the Grand canyon before returning to their home in Texas. Mr. and Mrs. Done were formerly of Payson, Utah. j . Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ward (Hussy) I returned to Milford last week after I spending the past year in Montana, where Mr. Ward played football on the University team at Bozeman. He is now working at the U. P. shops. They have taken rooms at the Burton apartments. Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Sorensen from Los Angeles and Mrs. James B. Decker Deck-er and daughter, Helen, and family of Durango, Colorado, spent Wednesday Wednes-day of last week here with their sister, sis-ter, Mrs. M. A. Burton. Mrs. Decker expects to remain at Parowan for some time. Mr. and Mrs. Sorensen left the next day for Park City, for a few days' visit with relatives and will return Friday to be present at the Adams family reunion to be held at Parowan, Saturday and will leave soon after for their home in Cal. Mrs. Burton will go over to Parowan to attend the reunion. Forest Ranger, Blaine Beteson, came over from Beaver Tuesday, to tag cattle. He was accompanied by Mrs. Beteson, who spent the day with Mrs. F. R. Levi. Dr. and Mrs. E. H. Conger of Las Vegas, Nevada, are here visiting their son and wife, Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Conger. They brought -with them their little granddaughter, Miss Betty Jean Conger, who has been visiting them for several weeks. Mr. Hyde of Salt Lake City, super-vsor super-vsor of the Mountain States Telephone Tele-phone and Telegraph exchange, is visiting the Milford and Beaver offices of-fices this week. Mrs. Eb Gillies of Beaver, is here visiting her daughter, Mrs. Lloyd Lee and family for a few days. Luther Hardy sprained his foot last week and was confined to the house for several days. Mr. and Mrs. Jo Kinney and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Taylor of Los An- I - : 1 geles, left here the night of the 14th j and motored over to Fish lake for the opening of the season. They returned re-turned home Friday night, with a large number of fine trout. I i j A. C. Saunders, publisher of the I Beaver City Press, made a pleasant ; call at the News office" Thursday af-I af-I ternoon of last week. Mr.. Saunders was on his way to Glenwood Springs, Colorado, on a business trip, i ! Miss Sarah and Miss Ruth Pool were the guests at the home of Miss i Lucile Frazer, at Reed the first of the week. j M. H. Pool, manager of J. C. Pn-; Pn-; ney store, was confined to his home j several days last week, but ig feellnj j good again and back on the job. Miss Pauline VanWormer left Sunday Sun-day for Los Angeles, to visit ht aunts, and uncles, Mr. and Mrs. : Lloyd Sigler, and Mr. and. Mrs. Frank : O'Keefe, for a couple of weeks and go with them to Seattle, Washington, I where they will visit another aunt ,! ami uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Han- son. The trip will be made overland. |
