Show ROLL CALL PLAN'S UNDER WAY With the opening of the Eighth Annual Red Cross roll call, less than six weeks away, plans are rapidly taking shape in Beaver chapter territory ter-ritory for this anniversary of the national organization's pledge to carry on. Practically all supplies have been received by Mrs. Cora E. Carlton for distribution to committees now being be-ing outlined. Copies of the "plan book" ar.i in the hands of Miss Beau-jmont Beau-jmont and the secretary. A list of the J active participants in the roll call will be ready for the Press soon. All branches of Beaver chapter have been reached, by advance subscription subscrip-tion to the Red Cross Courier and by ; personal correspondence. It becomes more definitely a conviction con-viction as the time approaches that the enthusiasm evident in the recent discussion looking toward the continuance con-tinuance of the local health clinic with the Red Cross co-operating prophesies that "if the people really Iwant it, it can be done." If you are interested in the clinic, "Join the Red Cross." If you are the parent or friend of an exservlce man do likewise. The war is not over for jthem, and it is thereby that we know j the Red Cross work is not done. ! KENDALL KIRK FRANKS jChapt. Secretary. Beaver, chapter. |
