Show TRYING TO BLACKMAIL THE HOTEL AT NEPHI Business men along the line of the Zion Park highway, or more especially espec-ially hotels, must do as Bill Rishel, or the Utah State Automobile association asso-ciation dectates or be boycotted and damned. No more despicable invasion invas-ion of the rights and privileges of American citizenship, and business freedom, was ever attempted than what came to light this week when the Forrest hotel of this city, re ceived a letter from the American Automobile association with headquarters head-quarters at Washington D. C, informing in-forming them that their name had been dropped from the list of hotels to which tourists are directed, because be-cause they are claimed to be antagonistic antag-onistic to the Utah State Automibile association, and: refuse to be dictated to by Bill Rishel and further; because be-cause the hotel management here saw fit to support the Scenic Highway High-way association, in view of the fact that the latter organization was more in touch with the road problems prob-lems of Central and Southern Utah. For this support of a rival organization organiza-tion it seems that the hotel here is to be boycotted, and blackmailed by the American Automobile association associa-tion which of course is working through the Utah State Automobile association which appears to be the personal and absolute property of Bill Rishel. The question could well be asked, "are we living in Russia?" "Has th" time come in Utah when a system of common blackmail can be pursued and attempts made to inaugurate r. boycott on business men. because they don't see eye to eye with certain cer-tain organizations who assume to dictate the entire road policies of the Btate?"
