McKeon, owner of the Roosevelt Hot Springs', fourteen miles northeast of Milford, has every reason to feel highly elated over recent re-cent developments. For many years past, Mr. McKeon has been satisfied the water from these spring;: contained curative properties pro-perties which could not be accounted for by any ordinary chemical analysis' analy-sis' ol the water. Thinking these qualities might be due to radio-activity, he corresponded correspond-ed with the radium laboratory at Orange Or-ange City, New Jersey. Chi-! cago laboratory. ! After a careful analysis the water was found to be radio-active and the pitchblende formation to contain a high percentage of radium salts. ! As a result of his investigation I Mr. Nelson decided to visit Roosevelt ' Springs and Tuesday evening, September Sep-tember 30, in company with Mr. Ga-bel Ga-bel and wife, he arrived in Milford on No. 7. After spending several days look-: look-: ing conditions over he is thoroughly convinced the properties owned by Mr. McKeon contain radium deposits of great value. Mr. Nelson resides at Wheatou, 111 a suburb of Chicago and has his. laboratory la-boratory on North Wells street, Chi-"S'O. Chi-"S'O.
