Several very enjoyable dinner parties have been given in this neighborhood neigh-borhood during the past week. Mrs. Jack Travers and two small sons, has gone to Mt. Home to spend some time with Mr. Travers, who is looking after his live stock interests in the western part, of the county. Mr. Merrill Miller was a week end visitor at the Black Rock ranch. Last Sunday Mr. Jay Kearns -Salt Lake, visited with the Walter James family. Beautiful sunshiny days and blue skies continue to be our portion. Were it not f6r the smell of pluni pudding and fruit cake, the sure harbinger of the approach of a festive fes-tive season, and the fashioning of dainty trifles by busy feminine fingers, fin-gers, it would be almost impossible to realize that the Christmas season is almost upon us. Mr. and Mrs. VanFlcet of Naw-house Naw-house are at Mrs. Manuel's cozv little lit-tle home, visiting their daughters, Mrs. Manuel and Mrs. Heidenrick Mr. and Mrs. Walter James and daughter Thekla, went to Milford to attend the Elk's ball and banquet. They also attended the shower given in honor of Miss Alta Edwards, who is to be married soon. Merrill Miller Mil-ler and Miss Edwards came home with them for a visit at the Black Rock ranch. After spending some weeks verv agreeably in Southern California'. John Stahl returned home last Saturday. Sat-urday. He found California beautiful and the climate as mild as always, but lacking the invigorating and bracing air of this section. Friends and relatives entertained and1 made his stay pleasant, but after all. it seemed good to be home again. Mr. and Mrs. A. G. James made a hurried trip to Milford to consult Dr. Hunter about their little daughter, daugh-ter, Dorothy, who has some sort of of growth or swelling on her neck.
