Show RIFLES FOR LEGION POSTS Arms and Ammunition for Use at Funerals Fu-nerals Will Be Supplied by the Government. American Legion posts wishing to stock up on obsolete rifles and blank ammunition for use in funeral ceremonies cere-monies may obtain them from corps ordnance officers, United States army, under the provisions of an act of congress. con-gress. No more than ten rifles and their equipment will be supplied to one post. Legion state commanders must approve ap-prove the application for the loan of rifles and the s:e of blank ammunition. ammuni-tion. Upon receipt of the application bearing the endorsement of the state commander, tire corfs ordnance otlicer will supply a bond covering the penal value of tire property. This bond when properly executed, must be ap proved by the state commander and returned to the ordnance officer Transportation must lie paid by the post.
