Show UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD CO. The Union Pacific railroad, formerly for-merly the Los Angeles & Salt Lake route, traverses this valley from one end to the other, and is controlled by men who are firm beleavers in making the territory tributary to their lines as productive as possible; and 'the best way to make the valley productive is by bringing in farmers. Every farmer located near their lines, menas more freight and more ! passengers, and consequently more revenue. In any effort to bring in farmers, the people of Milford will be glad to co-operate, as they know full well that whatever tends to make the railroad prosperous, makes the town prosperous. In fact every man. woman and child brought in by the railroad, either as set lers or employees, helps Milford. |
