Show NADA NEWSLETS (Too late for last week) Columbus Day was observed by the Nada school with suitable program of patriotic songs and readings, also an intersting baseball game between teams of pupils at which the parents and patrons were enthusiastic spectators. spec-tators. Col-umbus. The handiwork in the decorations decora-tions and program reflected great credit on the pupils. The teacher, Carlton Culmsee, is now attending the U. E. A. at Salt Lake City. The Boy Scouts of Minersville passed through Nada Friday on their way to Myer's ranch to camp and gather pine-nuts. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Johnson of Milford, spent Tuesday at the Culm-see Culm-see home. Mrs. Roy Rhodes and children of Kelso, Calif., left for their home Wednesday Wed-nesday morning after a short visit at the Geo. Meyer's home. A daughter of the late Charles R. Roper and her husband visited his old homehere last Tuesday. A Stephenson was a Milford visitor Tutsday. Miss Mildred Couch of the Milford High school wa sa visitor at the Nada school last Friday. She is also spending spend-ing this week end at home. The Meyere and Culmsee families enjoyed a couple of days outing in the mountains. |
