Show LOCALS and PERSONALS The M. I. A. party is to be given in the church Tuesday evening, Oct, 2 6. The evening will be spent in games and dancing, lunch will be sold. Every one is invited to come and help make this opening party successful. Mrs. Wm. Martin arrived home' Monday afternoon from Salt Lake City, where she has spent the last' three weeks on a business and pleas- ure trip. I Morris Smith of Calinete is here in ' Mill'ord visiting at the home of his mother. Ted Thompson and Ed Nowers were here Monday installing new telephones. Mrs. John Gillies of Beaver, has been visiting friends and relatives here in Milford for several days. Mrs. Al Hillary has with !ier from California, her father, Mr. Stanch-field. James Kelley and- Roy Dame from Fillmore are here in Milford on a business trip. Among those who came from Fillmore to our football game were Charles Duncon, Nona Pearson, Alice Bushnell, Donald Swallow, Welde Bunshell and Don Reay. Spence Webb is back in Milford again. Howard Djnwoody returned home Monday from the Holy Cross hospital hospi-tal where he has been very ill with typhoid fever. ' . -Mr. and Mrs. Walter Griffiths are the proud parents of a baby boy born Oct. 17. Mr. and Mrs. Ambrose McGarry and young son are here In Milford from Salt Lake City. Miss Ora Gale from the Holy Cross hospital at Salt Lake has been in Milford attending her sister who has been very ill. Mr. and Mrs. Abe Fotherlngham Jr., are in Milford from Salt Lake City visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Burnett Fotherlngham. Jim Patterson from Reed, is a Milford Mil-ford visitor this week. Miss Lavern Evans, daughter ol Mr. ana Mrs. M. W. Evans of this city, and Leslie Carter of Milford were joined in the holy bonds ol wedlock last Saturday.
