Show MONTHLY MEET - WOMENS CLUB The P. & B. W. club held their regular monthly meeting on last Monday evening. It was stunt night and opened by the members singing tho following song from the new books which have recently arrived: Club Song (Tune: "Long, Long Trail") In both business and profession We e're stand for the right, Democracy and Progress Are the goals for which we fight. On our banner white emblazoned Is our motto unfurled; 'Tts "Better Business Women For a Better Business World." O, we stand for honest methods And for standards all high, Efficiency and Service Shall e're be our battle cry. And we champion our sisters Yet in college or school, A helping hand we offer For good fellowship Is our rule. 0. the emblem that we follow Is Inspiring and true; It helps to urge us upward On to heights not yet in view. On a field, of gold embellished Fair "Winged Victory" Is a symbol of the purpose Of the B. P. W. C. The stunts were all laughable and Jolly and every one seemed full of joy. Beautiful paper caps were fished for and they seemed to get the one which was most becoming. The Bobbed hair song and the Long hair song was given, which showed up the views of both sid':s. The ladies with long hair were in the minority. The closing song, "Show Me the Way to the Club," finished the program. Refreshments were served in the Atkin raf". As a grand final. Mr. Hugh Cban-selor Cban-selor gave the members a delirious treat at the Corner stora. The evening even-ing was one of much merriment cd satisfaction. |
