Show SOCIAL EVENTS OF THE WEEK BENEFIT PLAYGROUND Mrs. Steve Stoker entertained at a progressive pro-gressive playground party at her home, Friday of last week. Two tables ta-bles were filled for "500." Mrs. Jennie Jen-nie White won high store. Refreshments Refresh-ments were served to Mrs. C. Kelly, Mrs. John White, Mrs. Roy While, Mrs. Fred Jefferson, Mrs. Dell Duffin and Mr a Phil Orwin. ENTERTAINED Mrs. Harry Yea ger entertained at her home Saturday Satur-day evening with a party for the benefit be-nefit of the playground. "500" was played. Refreshments were served to Mrs. Charles Sportsman, Mrs. G. Cuddy, Mrs. J. Jeffers, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Newhart, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Newhart. BIRTHDAY PARTY Mrs. Ben Sedgwick entertained at her home Monday afternoon in honor of her littile daughter, Martiha's fourth birth day anniversary. Games were enjoyed. enjoy-ed. Ice ceram and cake were served to- twenty-five little guests. Mrs. Sedgwick Sed-gwick was assisted in serving by her mother, Mrs. James Clay and Mabel Bradfield. BEEHIVE HIKE The Polyanna swarm, with their keeper, Miss Ar-dath Ar-dath Johnson, spent a delightful evening ev-ening in the West hilils, Saturday night. Games were enjoyed. At 9:00 they prepared their supper over a big campfire. Members who went were, Ora Edwards, Mahaley Sherwood, Besisie Killam, Christy McLeod, Mary Ma-ry Bonner, Macel Pogers, Mary Vincent, Vin-cent, Garnetta Clements. Guest of honor, Miss; Alice Beard. SHOWER Mrs. T. O. Poulton gave a shower for her daughter, Mrs. George Moore. Wednesday night of last week, at the home of Mrs. A. Johnson. Thirty five guests were present. "500" was played, Mrs. A. CANYON PARTY' Mr. and Mrs. Des Hickman entertained at a Canyon Can-yon party Saturday and Sunday, returning re-turning Monday, stopping in Beaver mountains Saturday; motored to r fer's lake Sunday and report a very enjoyable time. Those in the party were: Mrs. James Hickman, of Ne-phi: Ne-phi: Mrs. M. E. Hickman of Richfield; Rich-field; Alta Griffiths, Sam Hickman, Joe Smith and Mr. and Mrs. Des. Hickman. PARTY Mr. and Mrs. Hickman entertained at a family gathering Friday night in honor of Mrs. James Hickman, of Nephi, and Mrs. M. E. Hickman of Richfield.
