Show ; MARINE RETURNS Charles' F. Hollis, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. T. Hollis, who has been at Hawaii Islands, for nearly two years, with the Marine corps, has returned home. He left the island on the 28th of February and has been at Mare Island finishing his work, and received re-ceived his honorable discharge on May 27, 1922. After a few days' visit with relatives rela-tives in San Francisco, he left for home, accompanied by Mr. John Bos-elle, Bos-elle, a young Frenchman, who has been his chum and companion ever since he has been in service. Charles has man interesting experiences to relate, but is very glad to be home again with his parents. While at Magazine Island he received re-ceived a medal. of honor for expert rifle shooting, after several months practice. M.r. Rosselle will spend a few weeks here before returning to his home in Illinois. |
