Show GLORIA CHAPTER OF EASTERN STAR INSTITUTED RICHFIELD With all the solemn ceremonies incidental to so memorable an event, the Gloria chapter of the Eastern Star was instituted here Tuesday evening, and never was there a larg. er and more illustrious gathering of Eastern Star ladies andi Masons assembled as-sembled in Richfield than at this occasion oc-casion of laying the foundation fov a new chapter that, judging from the sincerity and enthusiasm displayed dis-played on the first evening, promises to become one of the best and the largest chapters pf the Eastern Star of Utah. The work was conducted in the lodge rooms of Hiram lodge No. 12 j under the direction of Worthy Grand ' Patron J. Wm. Stoner andWortny Grand Matron Nevada Cook and with the assistance of the following emotive emo-tive and appointive officers of trio Grand Chapter of Eeastern Star of i Utah; Assistant Grand Matron Get-I trudte E. Benjamin. Assistant Grand Patron Alexander R. Kafton, Grand , Secretary Frances G. Shields, Grand Treasurer Gertie M. Chilton, Granu Conductress Myrta M. Kafton. : Twenty-five members of the new' chapter participated in the work and j the Gloria chapter of Richfield ts. now fully organized and will contin-j ue the work under dispensation un-j til the charter will be granted at the next Grand Chapter meeting. 1 The new officers will take up lu bors immediately to be in good form when initiating additional members and applications for admission are being signed so rapidly that a membership mem-bership of fifty will easily be reached i before the fall meeting- of the Grand j Chapter.
