Show i MANY MEN AT WORK The number of men at work in the neighborhood of Milford, and especially espec-ially in the yards of the Union Paci-lic Paci-lic railroad, gives the town a very busy appearance. Three big eteel-laying eteel-laying gangs are centering their work here. The old rails are being taken up and replaced with 90-pound -I eel. The main line track by the depot is being laid on a two-foot bed of rock and new brick plat-forms will replace the old oil ones. Two big cranes, equipped with orange peel-buckets peel-buckets have been busy doing the excavating and many men are replacing replac-ing the ties and rails. It is reported that the contract Is let for the new depot. |
