Mr. and Mrs. Russell Parsons and son Russell, jr., were the dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Eph Smith, Saturday of last week. Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Nebeker and ' daughter Ann, returned Sunday evening even-ing from a business and pleasure trip at Salt Lake City and Logan. They were accompanied home by their niece. Miss Margaret . Egbert, of Logan. Mr. and Mrs. M. J. Pool returned Monday evening from a business trip in the north part of the state. Wm. Cobier of San Bernardino, Cal., has come here to spend the summer with his sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Scott Stagger. Russell E. Parsons of Los Angeles, Cal., spent Tuesday here on business. Mr. and Mrs. Parsons and son are spending the summer at St. George looking after oil interests. Mrs. Parsons Par-sons spent the day at Beaver, with her brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Harris. Mr. and Mrs. Scott Tannet returned Sunday evening from a nice trip to Salt Lake, Springvale and Kanosh, where they spent nearly two weeks visiting relatives and friends. Mrs. L. G. Cay is visiting with her parents for a couple of weeks. The Progress. Mrs. B. N. Davidson and son Mel-vin, Mel-vin, left Tuesday afternoon for Mt. Pleasanl where they will spend the summer. Mr. Davidson has been working there for some time. Mrs. H. T. Holt, who has been here visiting her mother Mrs. B. N. Davidson, David-son, left Tuesday for her home at Lund. A. J. Bigler, the new proprietor of the Ever-Ready Cafe, had some very neat menu cards printed at the News offic several days ago. Mr. Bigler has made quite a reduction in the cost of meals. Al Cline drove up from Milford Sunday, remaining here until Tuesday. Mrs. Cline returned home with him. The Progress. Miss Arvilla Muir was the house guest of Miss Edith Stanley at her home on the Stanlev farm Monday Night. Miss Vie Smith who has been here visiting Miss Louise Levi, for two weeks, returned Saturday to her home at Beaver. Mrs. Reed Cameron and baby, of ! Salt Lake are here vsiting her sister Mrs. Rue Neilson. ' Mrs. James Lang, Mrs. Rue Neil-son Neil-son and Mrs. Reed Cameron of Salt Lake, spent Wednesday at Beaver. Miss Louise Levi, Vera McAllister, ; Pearl Rogers and Messrs. Tom Comp-bell, Comp-bell, Marian Vincent and Wallace Morris Mor-ris motored to Monroe Hot springs Sunday and spent a glorious time. After the game a polly time was spent swimming in the plunge. Members present were: Mrs. George Fernley, Mrs. Frank Farmer, Mrs.' C. R. Par-i'-h. Invited guests were: Mrs. C. C. Sloan.
