Show . . Mrs. Rachel Jefferson, - who has been in Salt Lake at the L. D. S. hospital for medical treatment for the past couple of weeks, is report-!ed report-!ed as somewhat improved at this time. Mrs. Wilson Moore had as her Sunday guest, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Skinner, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Skinner and the Misses Wanda and Barbara Denney. The Silver Tea was entertained On Wednesday afternoon at the home of, Mj-s. George Litchfield. The afternoon after-noon was spent with sewing and four o'clock luncshon was served. Members Mem-bers present were: Mrs. Jack Sherwood. Sher-wood. Mrs. Chas. Schcw. Mrs. Glea-son, Glea-son, Mrs. Fred Ludtke, Mrs. A. Foth-eringham Foth-eringham and Mrs. Doug Fotherlng-ham. Fotherlng-ham. On Tuesday of last week. Mrs. J. Tanner received! the sad news that her sister, Mrs. Julia Thompson, a resident of a suburb of Los Angeles, Angel-es, had been struck by a Pacific Electric Elec-tric car and instantly killed. A; large tree obscured their view andl the car was upon them before they' were aware of its nearness. The lady-who lady-who was riding with Mrs. Thompson is very seriously injured. The body of Mrs. Thompson was taken to Lew-isville, Lew-isville, Idaho, for burial and passed through here Sunday on No. 20. atj which time they were joined by Mrs. Tanner. Mrs. Thompson was about forty-five years of age and leaven a son and a married daughter. |
