Show W.N. White Leaves For Washington W N. White, special investigator for the United States Geological Survey, Sur-vey, and eminent authority on underground under-ground water, left Sunday for his 'ieao"uarters in Washington, D. C. ' White and children had preceded pre-ceded him about two weeks, leaving Mr. White here to finish up his work. Mr. White first came to Milford as an investigator for the land department de-partment in 1919 to classify lands here with regards to the enlarged homestead law. In 1925 he returned to conduct investigations in-vestigations of our supply of underground under-ground waters. Since that time he has spent his summers here continuing continu-ing his work which he has just completed. com-pleted. Mr. White now goes to Washington to make out his report which will be oublished in the near future. " Mr. and Mrs. White's many friends in Milford regret very much losing them, and wish them a full measure of success in whatever field Mr. White's work may call him in the future. |
