Show The Sixth Annual Farmers Encampment Encamp-ment July 19-22 With dates definitely set and with the general program nearly completed, com-pleted, plans for the sixth annual farmers' encampment, to be held on the campus of the Utah Agricultural college, July 19 to 22, are rapidly neariug completion, according to W. W. Owens, assistant director of the extension service, who has helped to plan and conduct each encampment held during the last six years. The attendance at this annual fete for farm folks has steadily increased since the beginning, extension records rec-ords show, last year's total passing the 3000 mark. Early reports from county agents and other field workers work-ers indicate that the attendance this year will easily establish a new record. In keeping with the established custom, a tent city will be erected on the east campus to accommodate approximately 200 families, especially especial-ly those from the more distant parts of the state. Others will bring their own tents and pitch them in the grove back of the tent city. It is expected that families living near enough, will drive to the campus each day and return in the evening, as they have done in other years. Food supplies will be available on or near the campus. The college cafeteria, a dairy lunch and a special spec-ial "milk bar" will be in continuous operation. ''- Reveille at 6 a. m. will begin each day's program which will close with the sounding of taps at 10 p.m. The intervening sixteen hours will be filled with lectures, demonstrations, demonstra-tions, farm excursions, contests, games, movies, swimming, concerts and community singing.
