The Milford Hotel was built during dur-ing the early summer of 1913, under un-der the direct management of H. T. Hanks, the former owner. With the exception of one season, when Mr. Schiller conducted the hotel, it has been under the direction of Mr. and Mrs. Hanks. The building, which is a three-story three-story structure, contains 4 0 guest rooms, with baths and running water; a beautiful dining room, a spacious lobby and hall. With its location it cost in the neighborhood of $50,000.00. Mr. and Mrs. Kramm will have complete charge of the hotel, a position po-sition they are well qualified to fill, having had a lifetime experience in the hotel business. Before coming to Milford they had owned and successfully suc-cessfully managed large hotels at Modeston, Calif., and Lodi, Calif. Mr. Kramm is also interested with Mr. Smith in farming land out in the pumping district, south of Milford. |
