Show SALT LAKE ROUTE NOTES Well, Boys, here we are again after af-ter a much, needed rest. I shall attempt, at-tempt, to furnish you with good live stuff concerning railroad news. Any item' that you might furnish will be highly appreciated. II. is reported that the Dick brothers are all back to work on the Montana Division of the O. S. L. again. There is Moore Dick, Long Dick and Short Dick. These boys have. been connected connec-ted with the mechanical department of O. S. I,, line for some time. Why is it that when trains are delayed de-layed that male cannot get throng;! and females can. Engineer Pat Garrity says that he will make his 50 miles per hour from right now. Sill, Oklahoma, they had no reception at that time, but a splendid reception was held for them in Salt Lake this; week. Farrier dropped into to-wn on No. 2 Friday morning from the City of Caliente. Miss Julia Anderson, formerly operator op-erator for the Salt Lake Route, at Delta, has resumed work again with the Western Union at Salt Lake. Train Master W. F. Farrier has such a pretty little bungalow for his office, we feel sure that he is proud of it. Some of the boys think that there should have been a house warming though, not that they wanted want-ed to paint it red, however. i i This year's crop of company ice is far much better than last year's. The I company have all their houses well oei:ea ior tne coming summer. It surely looks good to see a lot of the old faces returning ,to other various var-ious positions after having underwent ! a turn at the flu. It is reported that Passenger Con- ductor Creech who took ill on his train some few, days ago, and had to be relieved at Milford, is some better " at his home in Salt Lake.
