Show I. L. Quirk went to Salt Lake City Monday on business. Clint McShane came over from 'Beaver Sunday enroute to Salt Lake ;City. H. E. Diehl of the Teluride Power company is stationed, here in Milford for some time. Don A. Workman, an old timer in this section but now of Marysvale, spent Sunday iri our city. C. J. Goodall and wife of Kim-berly, Kim-berly, New York, were in Milford on Friday and Saturday. Nell M. Madsen, M. B. Brafbet' of 'Salt Lake City were in Milford the past week. Bud has been demoted as manager of the Utah Theatre. The patrons (of the theatre will miss Bud's smile. ' E. Burton, wife and son were in Milford on Monday, Tuesday ana Wednesday oi their way to Paro-wan. Paro-wan. ' i W. A. Copely, the popular boiler-maker, boiler-maker, has returned to Milford and has accepted a position at the railroad rail-road shops. , Mr. and Mrs. J. I. Sanders entertained enter-tained Mr. and Mrs. Jorgensen, Mrs. Munford, Misses Vera Munford and Martha Pace at dinner last Sunday. I The High and Junior High School pupils went out to Rock Corral last Thursday plcnicing. From all accounts ac-counts they had a splendid time. Bill & Bill have desolved partnership, partner-ship, Bill Miller having purchased ifhe interest of Bill Elmer. "The new name for the store has not been decided de-cided upon. - Fred Heck, formerly manager of the Continental Oil Co. here, but who has been in the shipyards at San Pe dro, California, has been released from that' place and is now locates at Lund. Mr. Heck made a short visit to Milford friends last week. One of the pleasant social affairs of the season, was the dance given last Wednesday evening at the Mormon Mor-mon meeting house. A large crowd enjoyed the dancing until a late hour All present declare they had a very delightful time and delicious refresh ments. S. E. Potter of Riverside, Cal., spent last Friday in town visiting with his old time friends, R. A. Booth land Karl 'S. Carlton. Mr. Potter Is on his way to see his father and mother, who live in South Carolina. He Is the leading plumber In his (home town and consequently has plenty of money to travel with. Mr. and Mrs. Wade Coon entertained enter-tained the following guests at dinner last Thursday evening In honor of their sons. Sgts.
