Show O. A. O. CLUB Last Thursday evening the O. A. O's entertained the O N. O's at the home of Mrs. C. D. Pennlston, in Milford valley. Everyone present seemed to be 'bent on having a good time and the spirit of sociability that prevailed was delightful. Bridge was played. Mrs. Ethel Crone won the ladies' prize and Mr. Sanders the gentlemen's. Two long tables were arranged in the dining room foV the refreshments. refresh-ments. During the luncheon, each' table of feasters bombarded the other oth-er with a cross-fire of .good natured raillery, which added enormously tc the joy of the evening. DeliciouB salad, hot rolls, coffee, cake and heap ting dishes of wonderful home-, ice cream were served. Each table had a centerpiece of mountain wild flowers and the Japanese Jap-anese linen was. very noticeable. The O. N. O's will entertain at an Easter affair shortly at which there is promised to be some doin's. , |
