Show o MILFORD'S DIVERSITY OF RESOURCES "This little old town has a greater variety of resources re-sources than any place of the size I have, ever known," said an old-timer to the editor of the News. "There are the great mining interests which are only just beginning to develop ; the great irrigation project pro-ject which is bound to go though settlers may come: and leave and companies may do the same, for there is a lot of good land and plenty of water for a certain cer-tain portion of it; then the cattle, sheep and hogs; will increase as the feed supply increases on the ranches; and the railroad pay roll and large number of people employed who make Milford headquarters for a greater portion of the time. All these are seldom sel-dom found backing one small town." He is right. Milford could not keep from growing grow-ing if she tried. What seems to be needed is a co-operation of all interests to make this a better place to live from day to day. Better streets, better buildings, build-ings, trees planted, sidewalks laid, and a general forward for-ward step toward the place we may take among the best towns of the State. |
