Show o OH YOU BONUSES! The distribution of several thousand dollars in bonuses to local railroad men is something to be thankful for. It's not only good for the said railroad rail-road men and their families but good for the entire community. They are "like getting money from home," as one., man expressed it. We don't know as to that, never having received any from that source, but in the middle of winter when coal is scarce and hard to get, spuds are three cents per pound and the cow is dry, and the hens won't lay even if you feed them $2.50 wheat, a bonus should certainly jingle very musically to the bonusee. o |
