Show THOSE RAILROAD CROSSINGS There are hundreds of people who cross the numerous nu-merous tracks of the Salt Lake Route on the State highway leading southeast from Milford eyery day. Seldom a vehicle makes such crossing without the inquiry being made, "Why don't somebody fix this crossing?" The facts are that the crossing has been "fixed" too much. What is now needed is that a real, permanent crossing should be BUILT. It could not be made too substantial. If the Town of Milford and. the Salt Lake Route would unite on the proposition a crossing with concrete base six inches deep and a modern top dressing could be built that would "stay put." The News believes that there are people who use that crossing frequently who would be willing to donate the use of teams to haul the necessary material. ma-terial. The expense thus divided would be light all around and the benefit far-reaching. The News will be pleased to furnish one of the teams and wagon and a man to drive it. Let's do some substantial, permanent work and not so much "fixin'." |
