Show Mrs. Jack Wardenburg and Miss Louise Poulton left Tuesday morning morn-ing for a two weeks visit in Los Angeles. Next Sunday is Ardeth's birthday. Anything is acceptable. H. B. Waters of the Telluride Power company was over from Richfield Rich-field last week. Miss Ardath Johnson entertained the Beehive girls at her home last Friday, evening at a candy pull. 28 members were present and all report re-port a splendid time. Mr. C. Dickerson, who is interested interest-ed in the Humboldt mines company was here from California Tuesday. H. A. Larson spent Sunday in Delta. Del-ta. Glen Bell and Joe Deardon and Guy Richardson-of Garrison are Milford Mil-ford visitors this week. Mrs. Annie Cox of Beaver returned return-ed Sunday, from visling her daughter daugh-ter in Los Angeles. She visited here with Mrs. J. B. Smithson, before returning re-turning to Beaver., Mr J. T. Gant local telephone manager man-ager was in town Monday and Tuesday. Tues-day. County Attorney Russell E. Persons Per-sons spent Tuesday in Beaver. The dance given by the Hawaiian orchestra at the opera house Saturday Satur-day night was very successful. Mrs. H. J. Barton of Caliente is here for a few days. Quite a. snow storm this morning. At noon there were about six nch-es nch-es on the level. It makes the dry farmer smile. The Commerical club held a short business session last night in the office of-fice of Jorgensen & Company Tuesday Tues-day evening. Quite a nice strike has been made at the Quadmetals recently by the leasers. The last car shipped netted iver $1800. The Golden Rule Store is open and doing business at the same old stand where its predecessors did bus-ness bus-ness for many years. They have a lice clean stock which is being ad-ed ad-ed to every day. |
