Pi $ ?-'IWWlr Gunnison Valley, with its 21,000 acres of fertile, irrigated B! I'vfev land' wouderfully adapted to sugar beet cultivation, is the ideal Eg -vjrtrAW location for our factory. 'Ci S'r.j' V Years before a sugar company operated in Sanpete county, "1 jS 1 ne farmers had successfully raised beets for shipment to other fSj " ' sections. During that period, this valley was awarded first ' E prize for the "two best acres of beets in the state." 1 At the present time we hold contrae's for approximately 3500 acres of beet fes land. These contracts run for three to five years. "With the opening of spring O ; this acreage is being rapidly increased. EJ At its present daily capacity of 450 tins of beets, the Gunnison factory can jSS easily care for 5000 acres of land. A small additional expenditure will supply , I5 equipment to handle nearly 7000 acres. P The factory is now 95 per cent completed and will POSITIVELY operate this pi year. E3 Many of the beet growers and other residents of Gunnison Valley are part 1 owners of this sugar factory. They are proud to be identified with this successful S industry, as are other citizens of Utah aid Idaho. For complete information, call or write to -i Gunnison Valley Suar Co.
