Tho Freight Claim Cause and Prevention Pre-vention Bureau of the Salt Lake Route, is working with shippen, and inviting their cooperation in preparing pre-paring their shipments in a proper prop-er manner that when offered tor transportation that the shipment can be speedily and safely transported to its destination. There have been five meetings of this bureau held in Milford the past season, as well as various other stations sta-tions over the entire system and much good has resulted from them, attendance mostly being employees of the transportation department. The slogan of these meetings has been to prevent a claim a day. The topics discussed in these meetings, are: are, proper packing, proper handling and proper stowing. We wish to impress on the minds of all shippers that it should be their aim to properly pack their shipments in containers and packages (hat are of sufficient strengeh and durability to insure its being safely dispatched to destination.
