Inzer, pastor of the First Baptist church of Chattanooga, Chatta-nooga, Tenn., a man Identified with the activities of the veterans' organization organiza-tion since its Inception. In-ception. Dr. Inzer not only was one of the mon who initiated the formation for-mation of the Legion, but during the early days of Its growth, aided the work by traveling travel-ing over the country and making addresses ad-dresses as a member of the national executive committee. Dr. Inzer, who was born in Hamilton Hamil-ton county, Texas, January 6, 1S00, entered the ministry at the age of nineteen, his first pastorate being in Birmingham, Ala. He volunteered his services as chaplain in the army after the war broke out and served with the Fourteenth Infantry In the Northwest and at Camp Dodge, Iowa, where he was senior chaplain for three months. After the armistice he moved to Camp Grant, 111., where he served until llarch, 1919. He married Miss Marie taiith of Alabama in December, 1918. |
