Brigadier General Ket-chen, Ket-chen, commander of the military forces in the Manitoba district, in his first public address since the beginning begin-ning of the Winnipeg general strike, told a mass meeting of several thousand thous-and returned soldiers that "steps were being taken to deal fully with revolutionaries revolu-tionaries and undesirables in Winnipeg and other places in Canada." "When the government does act in connection with the Winnipeg upheaval, up-heaval, I am sure that you soldiers all will agree that, when I intimated today that action was impending to deal with revolution and Bolshevism, I did not tell you all," said General Ketchen.
