Show I. O. O. P. ENTERTAIN7 GRAND OFFICER Last Monday night Milford Lodge I. O. O. F. No. 42, received an official offi-cial visit from their Grand Master, E. H. Smith and Grand Secretary Par-'son Par-'son Simpkins both of Salt Lake. The -grand 'officers arrived on the 7:50 train and were escorted at once to the I. O. O. F. hall, where a short business meeting was held, after which an adjournment was taken tak-en to the Atkin Hotel, where one of those delicious banquets, such as only on-ly Mrs. Atkin knows how, was served Olives, chicken and turkey 'till after midnight. Speeches by the Grand master, Grand secretary and the local secretary, secre-tary, Art Lewis, were much enjoyed. Noble Grand Fred Jefferson acted as toastmaster in a very ''pleasing manner. Out of town guests included Orin Burke, and Robert Lightner of Min-ersville Min-ersville and H. B. Emerick of Salt Lake. |
