$ To Drive Dull Care Away What's Doing in the Local Social Circles Mrs. C. L. Jacquemiu of the Project, entertained a number of friends on Thursday afternoon, social converse contributing to a pleasant occasion. Wednesday afternoon, Mrs. J. M. Williams and H. A. Moore entertained in honor of Mrs. P. I. Moore, their mother and mother-in law respectively, respective-ly, who is visiting from Provo. An enjoyable afternooon was spent by the guests. About a score of friends of Mr. and Mrs. Forgie "surprised 'em" last Monday night, with a farewell party, as an expression ef regret at the departure de-parture of the Forgie family for the Montreal mine, where Mr. Forgie is the superintendent. An evening of pleasant social pleasure kept the guests "up" till a late hour. The G.I. A. of B. of L.E., or ladies branch of the Brotherhood of I oci -motive Engineers, Milford brar.ch, gave Mr. and Mrs. George Dearing a farewell surprise party Sunday evening, even-ing, to express regret at the departure of this excellent family for Salt Lake, where they will make their future home, aud to wish them continued success and prosperity. The affair was held at the resideuce of Mr. and Mrs. McCann and was most enjoyable throughout. Milford will miss these folks.
