Show PROMINENT WATER ENGINEER . F. Parker, for twelve year? city "nginerr of Ogden and at present chief engineer of the Utah Water Stcrnc-p aociation, was here last Thursday to look over the valley with a view to making a report on the water conditions and best source of water for the town of Milford, for a domestic supply, but the weather conditions were such that he had no opportunity to get out. Thursday evening he attended the meeting of the town board in order to get acquainted with the needs of the town. In conversation on the possibilities possibiliti-es of lifting water for commercial purposes, he carried the idea that Milford had been asleep, if conditions condi-tions here were as represented. He cited instances where water was being lifted 200 to 300 feet for irrigation ir-rigation purposes, and he laughed at j the possibility of failure here with a j lift of only 20 to 40 feat. |
