Such is the conclusion to be drawn from circulation figures appearing in the May library report submitted by Mrs. Freda Outzen, city librarian. According to the report, 631 books were borrowed from the Milford Mil-ford library by children during the past month, while only 498 were borrowed by adults, the children reading almost 200 more books than their elders. Cottrell of Provo, former residents of Milford, Mil-ford, are here visiting their son and daughters, Roy Cottrell, Mrs. Delia Grey and Mrs. Jo Tribole. Miss Rosabelle Jones of South Milford spent the week-end in Milford, Mil-ford, the guest of Miss Lucille Frazier. Miss Beth Rollins is here from Salt Lake spending a few days at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Rollins. Ross Patterson has purchased a new Ford sedan. Jasper Puffer and Loyal Baldwin Bald-win have been busy the past week hauling lumber from Frisco. Several couples from here motored mo-tored to Minersville Monday evening eve-ning to be present at a party given in honor of Mrs. Abbie McFarline of Nephi, who has been visiting with her aunt, Mrs. J. M. Griffiths. Mrs. Dan Bardino has been spending a few days with relatives and friends at Parowan. Mr. and Mrs. Dan B. James of Milford were in Frisco on Decoration Decora-tion day. A double surprise party was given giv-en Thursday night by the Neighborhood Neigh-borhood bridge club at the home of Mrs. William Carlson in honor of Mrs. Max Gillins and Mrs. William Voorhees. Ladies attending were Mrs. W. Carlson, Mrs. W. Voorhees, Mrs. Ralph Palmer, Mrs. Mae Chilton, Mrs. Tex Young, Mrs. LeVar Voorhees, Voor-hees, Mrs. Des Hickman, Mrs. William Morris, Mrs. Andrew Jensen, Jen-sen, Mrs. William Dawson, Miss Lola Morris and Mrs. Max Gllins. Gordon Murdock and Dan Mc-Garry Mc-Garry attended the ball game in Beaver Sunday. A new daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. L. G. Clay Tuesday night. |
