Show Former Resident Dies In Idaho City Word was received from Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, Wednesday after noon of the death there of James E. Tanner, 59, who was raised in Milford Mil-ford and spent some 25 years of his life here. He had been in Idaho the last two or three years, accom-panieed accom-panieed by a son but his family had retained their residence in Price, where he had lived most of the time since leaving Milford. The telegraphed word did not disclose the cause of death. Burial will likely take place in Nephi. James E. Tanner was born in Holden January 18, 1878, the family fam-ily moving to Milford shortly after that time. He worked at various occupations as a young man and assisted in his father's store, one of the pioneer business establishments establish-ments of the community. His last employment in Milford was with the W. A. Miller market, where he worked for a time after varying periods of residence in Beaver and other places. Since that time he had been associated with various Sewell and Safeway markets in the west. He is survived by a wife and seven children, also his mother, Mrs., E. Tanner, 87, and the following fol-lowing brothers and sisters: David A. and Eb Tanner of Milford, Jake Tanner of Beaver, Abner Tanner of Provo, Mrs. La Verne Ellison of Nephi and Mrs. Flossie Winn of Preston, Idaho. |
