Show BLACK ROCK Mr. and Mrs. Walter James were relieved to receive a wire from their daughter Helen on her arrival in ! New York City, where she went by j plane. Due to outstanding work I as supervisor of public health in New Mexico, she was awarded a scholarship to Columbia university, where she will have the opportunity opportun-ity to still further perfect herself in her chosen- vocation. Merrill Miller arrived Sunday evening- with a caterpillar and men to aid in the opening of trails to the various flocks of sheep. Mr. and Mrs. Archie Hanchett of Koosharem are ' residing at the Walter James ranch, where they are employed, . Mrs. W. H. Morgan, accompanied accom-panied by Miss Josephine Hunt, spent the week-end at Dlta, where th formr has many frinds. Solar Hutchings was here during the week conferring with sheep owners at to. ways and means of trafi.sf ering conentrates to their flocks. Jim Jensen, : forest ranger, of Kanosh, spent 24 hours here, aiding aid-ing in the directing of trail opening open-ing to the various sheep herds. : O : |
