Show SQUTHMILFORD Mrs. Gertrude Cook spent last week in town at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Roy Cottrell, while Mr. and Mrs. Cottrell were visiting their son Ross in California. Social Hour club members met with Mrs. Morgan Griffiths in town. After the business meeting, a delicious lunch was served to Mrs. Jennie Bowen, Mrs. Hannah Smith, Mrs. Cree Elmer, Mrs. Lee Baker, Mrs. Gladys Myers, Mrs. Katherine Heslington, Mrs. Edna Baker, and Mrs. Don Elmer, an invited in-vited guest. iMr. and Mrs. Claud Myers of Craig, Colorado, and son Dean, who was home from Italy on a furlough, were visitors at the Obra Myers home last Thursday. Dean left that evening by train for Santa Barbara, California, where he was to report at the redistribution redistribu-tion center. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan McKnight re. turned home last Thursday morning morn-ing from Los Aingeles and left Sunday afternoon for the same place. There Mr. McKnight will receive treatment for the next two or three months for a skim trouble. Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell Fisher and family are living at the Ivan McKnight home while the . M-Knights M-Knights are away. Mrs. Don Elmer left Friday for Los Angeles to spend the winter with her brother and family. Mrs. Brown and young daughter of Kansas City, Missouri, are living liv-ing at the Walter Cook home. Mrs. Brown is there as housekeeper housekeep-er and helping to care for the children. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Fisher were shopping in Cedar City Wednesday, also Mr. and Mrs. Lee Baker. Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Fisher have received word of the birth, December Decem-ber 8, of a daughter, Betty Jo, to Mr. and Mrs. Howard Angell, who are now making their home in Loma Linda, California. |
