Show Peaches Made Available People of a good many sections of the state are getting their fruit for canning under cooperative coopera-tive systems, but it looked like Milford people might not be afforded af-forded this opportunity. The outlook out-look is changed, however, insofar as Dixie peaches are concerned, for E. L. Westover of South Milford Mil-ford has an ad in this issue of The j News offering 1200 bushels of peaches to. Milford townspeople "at prices you can afford to pay!" He has purchased a 2000-bushel orchard in Hurricane and, with S00 bushels apportioned to farm security patrons, will have about 1200 bushels for local people. It is necessary that orders for the peaches be placed with him at once by writing or contacting him. iAnd, while you're thinking of j canning, it most certainly will be ! worthwhile to read the prices on i fruit jars, appearing in the Gamble Gam-ble store ad, also appearing in this issue.
