Mrs. Starr is the former Li la Willis, whose family made their home here as farmers for some five years about 25 years ne;o. As a student in the local schools she remembered association' associat-ion' with the former Maxine Hiirdsley and Nancy Hanks and with Howard Gospill. Neither of the two yirls is living; in Milford now and she was not able to contact con-tact Mr. (iospill .by phone, ibut she did have, a talk with Mrs. Ed Hardsley, mother of Maxine, now livintr in Davis, California. Mr. and Mrs. Willis, the parents, made their home in California's Imperial Imper-ial valley since leaving Milford and now live at Brawley. The Mtarrs were en their way to the upstate industrial area to make their homo, Mr. Starr being an electrical contractor. v |
