Show Shower Is Given For Bride-To-Be A bridal shower in honor of Miss Inez Griffiths was given Tuesday afternoon at the home of Mrs. R. H. Mills by Mrs. Mills and Mrs. S. G. Hickman. Bridge was the feature of the afternoon, the prize for points going to Mrs. Elma Vorhees, honors to the bride-elect, Inez Griffiths, and consolation to Hannora Hutchins. Those present were Mrs. J. L. Griffiths, Mrs. F. L. Osborn, Mrs. Charles Clements, Mrs. James Norman, Mrs. J. M. Burns, Mrs. J. Dern Osborn, Mrs. Alton Smith, Mrs. Stanley Vorhees, Juanita Griffiths, Hannora Hutchins, Frieda Koch, Majorie White, Helen Carlson, Inez Griffiths and the hostesses, Mrs. Mills and Mrs. Hickman. Delicious refreshments were served, and the guest of honor received many beautiful gifts. Miss Griffiths is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Griffiths of Milford. Her marriage will take place in San Francisco, California, Califor-nia, September 4 to Joseph Stirrer, staff sergeant at Hamilton field, San Rafael, California. Miss Griffiths will leave for Los Angeles, California, Friday morning, the 23rd, to visit with her sister, Mrs. Fowler, until her departure tfor San Francisco, August 31. |
