They were taken in charge by Lieutenant Clifford R. Jones, the company commander, and taken to camp in a truck convoy which had been waiting over 12 hours for their arrival. ar-rival. They were driven directly to camp where a fried chicken dinner din-ner awaited them- While several of the men have had previous experience ex-perience in the CCC, the majority of them are younger men without previous experience. The customary custom-ary orientation procedure will be followed to acquaint them with camp life. M |
